Jonathan Rovik – Junior Technician in Automation and Mechanics
Since July 2024, Jonathan Rovik has been part of the team at Iv Solutions. Although new to working life, he has already demonstrated strong drive and great potential in automation, troubleshooting, and technical maintenance.
Jonathan studied in the Industrial Technology Program at Peder Skrivares School in Varberg, where he gained a solid practical foundation in areas such as turning, milling, and welding. During his studies, he completed internships at companies including Pågen (through Iv Solutions), Manovi, and Gustafsberg, where he acquired experience in CNC technology as well as troubleshooting and programming in FB and SFC.
He continues to develop rapidly—pursuing PLC courses and actively taking part in troubleshooting machines, both electrical and mechanical. He has also contributed to projects involving the restoration of older equipment after incidents such as lightning damage, as well as improvement work on existing machines.
Outside of work, Jonathan is a social person who spends much of his time at the gym and with friends. His commitment, curiosity, and technical interest make him a valuable addition to the team.

My name is Christian Rovik.
Since childhood, I have been interested in technology and how things work. As a child, I spent a lot of time building my own technical solutions and exploring different mechanisms and controls. The gateway for me was Lego and Capsela, something many of you may recognize.
My passion for technology led me to a summer job at Volvo Torslanda in the maintenance department of the TC factory when I was 15 years old. There, I had the opportunity to practice my knowledge and experience in the world of technology during several summer jobs.
I started working as an electrician and PLC programmer at Volvo Torslanda in January 2000. During my time there, I gained further experience and developed my skills in these areas.
In 2005, I took the leap and started my own company. This decision gave me the opportunity to work on my own terms and continue developing my expertise in the technology industry. After running my company for a few years, I had the opportunity to further develop my leadership skills in two major companies.
From 2008 to 2014, I was employed as the maintenance manager at Pågen in Gothenburg (Högsbo). This was an exciting period where I was responsible for leading and overseeing daily operations, technical projects, and teams.
From 2014 to 2021, I worked as the technical manager at Akwel in Varberg (formerly Autotube). Here, I continued to develop my leadership and technical skills and contributed to the company's success as we developed several brand-new technologies in production engineering and robotic cells.
In summary, I am a technology enthusiast who has devoted my entire life to understanding and building technical solutions. With experience in electricity, PLC programming, and leadership, I have laid a strong foundation for driving technology projects and delivering successful results.
